THE STORY BEHIND THE ALBUM
TITAN
THE ALBUM THAT BUILT THE PRODUCER.
Produced by Double AA, TITAN brings together artists, composers, and engineers across 23 tracks of soulful, modern R&B, guided by trust, collaboration, and one uncompromising rule: leave the ego at the door and do what is best for the song.
THE WHY
I BECAME A TITAN WHILE CREATING TITAN.

TITAN began as a reflection of how I saw myself and a challenge to prove that I could bring a complete vision to life. I wanted to create an album that honored the trust every artist, composer, and engineer placed in me, bringing the best of what each person carried together with the best of what I could give.
Across 23 tracks, the process demanded more than musical instinct. It required patience, discernment, leadership, and the discipline to leave ego at the door. Song by song, I learned how to recognize talent, combine the right creative ingredients, and guide many individual contributions toward one unified body of work.
By the time TITAN was complete, I no longer had to imagine the producer I wanted to become. The work had revealed him.
The album began as something I wanted to prove. It ended by revealing who I had become.
DOUBLE AA
THE SOUND
SOULFUL AT THE CORE. MODERN IN ITS FORM.
TITAN is the clearest expression of the musical language that shaped me. Its foundation lives in the Black Church and Gospel, where harmony, conviction, and feeling could never be separated. New jack swing taught me movement and precision. Hip-Hop taught me the power of drums, texture, and space.
The influence of The Winans, Teddy Riley, RZA, and Timbaland lives within the album’s DNA, not as imitation, but as foundation. Their work showed me how soul, groove, atmosphere, and rhythm could coexist inside one production. I carried those lessons into 23 tracks of soulful, modern R&B, bringing emotion, hard drums, rich harmony, and contemporary production into one unified sound.
Through the process, I discovered that R&B was not simply one of the genres I could produce. It was the place where every part of my musical identity could meet. TITAN gave that identity a sound.

TITAN DIDN’T JUST
REVEAL MY SOUND.
IT REVEALED WHERE I BELONGED.
THE COLLABORATION
TRUST CAME BEFORE THE MUSIC.
The foundation of TITAN was relationship. Before I could ask an artist, composer, or engineer to trust my direction, I had to earn their trust as a person and as a creator.
I was not interested in simply collecting features or contributions. I wanted to understand what each person carried, create the environment for their best work, and combine it with mine in a way that honored both the collaborator and the song.
That trust allowed a wide circle of artists, composers, and engineers to move toward one shared vision. Across 23 tracks, many individual gifts became one complete body of work.

I BROUGHT THE VISION.
WE BROUGHT TITAN TO LIFE.
THE RULE
LEAVE YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR.
As the producer, I was responsible for the vision, but responsibility did not mean control for control’s sake. It meant stewardship. Every decision had to answer one question:
WHAT IS BEST FOR THE SONG?
Sometimes that meant leading with conviction. Other times it meant listening, changing direction, or making room for an idea stronger than my own. The source of the idea mattered less than whether it moved the music forward.
That principle kept TITAN honest. It created room for every collaborator to bring their best without competition, and it allowed each song to become what it needed to be.
THE SONG CAME FIRST.
EVERYTHING ELSE
HAD TO SERVE IT.
THE SONIC STANDARD
MUSIC IS SUBJECTIVE.
THE STANDARD WASN’T.

I knew I could not control whether every listener would love every song. Taste is personal. What I could control was whether each record had the clarity, depth, balance, and finish to stand beside the music they already trusted.
For TITAN, the sonics were not the final polish. They were part of the production itself. Every vocal, drum, harmony, texture, and transition had to feel intentional. Wherever a song appeared, it had to compete with the major-label records surrounding it.
When TITAN was played at IMI Studios in New York City, the response in the room affirmed the work. The album felt cohesive, full, and ready to carry the weight of the vision behind it.
I COULD NOT CONTROL WHETHER THEY LOVED THE SONG.
I COULD CONTROL WHETHER THE RECORD MET THE STANDARD.
